The 59th Miss USA pageant was held once again at the Theatre for the Performing Arts in Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 16, 2010 — when Miss Michigan, 24-year-old Rima Fakih, was crowned the new Miss USA. Miss Michigan, a strikingly beautiful Lebanese American and a brunette, won out over the usual "pageant blondes" — including first runner-up Miss Oklahoma, Morgan Elizabeth Woolard, second runner-up Miss Virginia Samantha Evelyn Casey, third runner-up Miss Colorado Jessica Hartman and fourth place runner-up Miss Maine Katherine Ashley Whittier.
